g How to test 1 way intersection?

I make an X crossing of just 2 rails, put signals, hit rails-icon - it builds stations, but
1. Makes the extended rails two-way. They must be one way.
2. Tries to direct the trains to unreachable stations - like from west to north, there's supposed to be no way there.

The menu says "Ways: 2" with no option to change it. How to use this mod? =)
