Teleportation deprecated

by Apriori

[OUTDATED] Look for Teleportation_Redux by Silari. Devices for the teleportation. Techs for mid- and late-game. You can teleport either to the special beacons or as far as you see (also usable in zoom-ro-world mapview). You can also use Telelogistics part after both enabling it through the in-game mod settings menu and researching the technology. Just place a Teleprovider, press R on it and select a destination Beacon. Need feedback about telelogistics energy cost.

i Item teleporter?

Teleports items; If an item enters the sender from the N side, on the reciever, it goes out the S side. If it goes in W, it goes out E. Vice versa ofc. Perhaps a limit stopping it from collecting if it's not facing exactly the correct direction?
Power use ideas: 2 versions:

v1A: Uses batteries in crafting recipe; Same energy usage as v1B except it connects to electric poles (And perhaps you could add some copper wires in the recipe, since teleporting tons and tons of items can be hard!) Also, teleportation range limits. Of course, it would just go out of a teleporter in range, through one conveyor and then back through another teleporter.

v1B. Same as 1A, but does NOT take energy from energy system; Instead uses Personal Fusion Reactors(PFR), and perhaps a research for "Advanced Personal Fusion Reactors" (APFR) of 6x6 size in the modular, but 4x as powerful(fusion reactor at that power is 8x8). Also, "Elite personal fusion reactors" (EPFR) could also be 10x10 for 4x power, (APFR at that power is 12x12, PFR at that density is 16x16)

v2AB through (however far you want)AB would be the same as 1AB except for crafting recipes, and item maximum distance teleport. Perhaps make biters hostile to them, which would provide an advantage to using trains over these, since tracks normally aren't targetted. PFR, APFR, and EPFR is useful here due to 2 and up B using lots of personal fusion reactors.

Items teleporting (aka telelogistics) is already in WiP stage. Inspired by https://forums.factorio.com/viewtopic.php?f=87&t=3134
