could you add a option to not have it auto open when opening map or ships, and have a button in the vanilla version to get to it instead?

Thanks for the feedback! Good idea, I’ll see what I can do. There is already a small button to switch between the original list and the folder panel, so an option for the start state sounds doable.

thanks for the suggestion! I’ve added exactly that. There is a new checkbox in the settings (tab “Panel”): “Do not show the panel automatically when opening the map”. When it’s on, opening the map shows the original list with a “To folders” button. One click on it shows the mod panel until you close the map, and the next time you open the map you start with the original list again.

It’s off by default, so nothing changes for anyone who likes the current behavior. It will be included in the next release.
