Sorry i should have reported this in my first bug report.
Modules are also an issue in the end game with IR3. Most of the space ship parts require various level 3 Modules, for example the FTL drive requires 500 of each type. Level 3 Modules in IR3 are hand crafted conversions of a another product called a Revolutionary computer (the blue computer), there is also a recipe to turn modules back into computers. There however is no way to automate this conversion that I have found (an oversight on IR3 I think). I use the RPG mod so crafting speed can get up to around 400% but even at that speed it would take a long time to make the 3000 to 4000 modules you need an in a more vanilla game at 8 seconds each it would be a long time indeed. (note: I consoled in a lot like the fuel issue).
I Recommend you just change the recipes to use the Revolutionary Computer item.
