Adds a game map and searchlights which sweep for foes at great range, alerting you while directing adjacent turrets to snipe spotted foes. Soo, when the turret is boosted by a searchlight and then gets reset to normal state, the turret quality always becomes normal.
Lost a bunch of legendary turrets this way, this really is a game breaker.
Same goes for searchlights themselves.

Also, that fire rate decrease is brutal
It need to be configurable at least

Thank you for your report!
I have released version 2.3.10 which I hope fixes the quality issue. (I didn't have any time to test it beyond making a very simple sandbox).
I will try to address the smaller problems like more configurable settings in the future when I have breathing room.
Please let me know if you notice further issues or ideas for the mod, I really do hope to get to make more & better changes in the future.

Yeah, honestly this mod is lovely and unique, but desperately needs a refactor, replacing turrets mechanics seems to break a LOT of things
Circuit connections on turrets for example.
Also, you know, it would be nice if searchlights could, you know, produce actual light. Kinda funny seeing a lot of searchlights yet the map being so dark.

And, I'm pretty sure the range increase to 150 of legendary quality light might not work (could be a visual display bug)

Yeah, unfortunately the patch that came with Space Age broke the lights, and I spent over an hour messing with the graphics prototypes without figuring out how to fix them.. Not to mention a bunch of other things that used to work seamlessly broke (like the turret GUI that pops up when clicking a light broke twice with subsequent SA patches). I don't have as much free time now as I did when I initially made the mod, but hopefully one day I can get that refactor done and iron things out.
