i Only buildings?

Would it be possible to have a setting to have it only target nests and worms? I set up a few turrets specifically for taking out bases the searchlight found, but it keeps getting caught up chasing biters around, while my normal turret line can easily handle them as they approach.

Otherwise, great mod. Thank you for making it, and especially for the compatibility with Hero Turrets. I was worried about losing damage/killcount progress, but it appears you already thought of that, and it saves them. Also thank you very much for the little overlay of where the searchlight will look, it helps a great deal when setting up the circuit.

Well, I originally wanted to allow setting searchlights to an "attack buildings / vehicles / units" only mode using the circuit network, but it cost more CPU time than I was comfortable with.

After I finish the other features I'm working on, I might revisit this idea in the future.

Maybe I'll make an API request to the devs so I can implement it in a performant way, or maybe I'll just make it a runtime setting so I can explain to players there that it might cause lag. (Right now, the trigger target masks api feature just doesn't seem to work for turrets like I'd hope, so that's what I'd probably ask the devs about)

Thanks for the response. Would be great if the devs could implement a few changes such as buffs to alter range/damage/cooldown/etc without making new entities too.

Also, at one point, I had major issues with ups slowdown from your mod when it targeted an enemy. I am not sure why, but I dropped down to 2.3fps/ups for several minutes while boosted turrets targeted some enemies at a long distance. I haven't checked the code, so I have no idea what might have been the cause, but it was fine when not actively targeting an enemy, and setting up a different searchlight with different turrets had no problem either.

You might also look into making more of the settings changeable from ingame settings menu, as I noticed you have a great deal of settings in the sl-defines file.

That sort of slowdown is really odd, I haven't encountered it in my testing.

If you see it again and can send me an autosave or something right before it happens, I can take a look.

Thanks for the suggestion, when I finish other things I'm working on I'll go over the list and see what might be good for promotion to a setting.
