b searchlight disappear on placement

hi! i tried the mod some time ago, and it worked fine at that time, but it had some odd behaviour with endgame combat, so, since i decided to remove that mod, i decided to give searchlight a try again...it might have to do with some strange interaction, but when a searchlight get placed, it doesn't, it just consume the item and nothing else

That's really strange. Can you send me your save file and list of mods you're using?

It also sounds like maybe you have the mod setting 'Prepare to uninstall mod?' enabled.
Make sure that's unchecked. It will cause it exactly the behavior you describe if it's enabled.

yeah, it looks like reinstalled mods retain the last configuration, the uninstall option was indeed checked...unchecking it did the trick.
It's a borderline usecase but, if there is a way to know if the mod got reinstalled and the option is already enabled, if it's possible to autodisable the option could prevent this problem in the future
