Realistic Reactors

Add realistic nuclear reactors including a breeder reactor type and cooling tower. The reactors must be controlled through integrated circuit interface signals. The thermal energy output is dynamic and depends on reactor core temperature. The reactors require sophisticated designs of their cooling system and heat-pipe network. If the operational conditions aren't met then a reactor core meltdown with dangerous consequences occurs

g Crash on reactor shutdown

(updated 4 years ago)

I'm running 0.17 with no other mods. Crash occurs when scram countdown reaches 0.

The mod RealisticReactors caused a non-recoverable error.
Please report this error to the mod author.

Error while running event RealisticReactors::on_tick (ID 0)
RealisticReactors/scripts/on_tick.lua:626: attempt to index field 'currently_burning' (a nil value)
stack traceback:
RealisticReactors/scripts/on_tick.lua:626: in function 'update_reactor_states'
RealisticReactors/scripts/on_tick.lua:265: in function <RealisticReactors/scripts/on_tick.lua:1>

EDIT: After some testing this seems to be caused by the 'decay heat (v 1.0.x)' scram behavior.

should be fixed in 0.18

I have mod version 2.18.13, on game version 0.18. I'm getting a different error but it seems related:

It always happens with just as the reactor transitions from the 'shutting-down' state to the 'shut-down' state.

Here's the server log:

It's still happening, but I believe I've narrowed it down. When the reactor reaches the end of the scram state, with the GUI open (I always have all 3 GUI elements displayed), it'll crash every time. If the GUI is closed, it's fine. That's my current workaround anyway.

I updated everything, and it seems to be fine now, thanks :)
