g Biters are ressuerecting themselves?

I'm really confused, it looks like some biters when they die leave behind a floating icon that turrets attack, and that after awhile they'll resurrect themselves. Is this intended? They never seem to stop resurrecting though, how do I get rid of them?

These are likely Arachnids biters. When they die, they drop eggs that must be killed within 3-5 seconds, otherwise they will spawn a new biter.
These eggs are resistant to fire and lasers, but vulnerable to physical damage.

I was attacking them with like 40 armor piercing turrets, they didn't do a single point of damage that I could tell, could you lower the resistances?

Maybe they just can't hit drone-type targets (the egg is a drone).
I need your save to figure out why.

Alright, I mean the only thing is that I'm using like 300 mods and some of them I've customized with the help of ChatGPT to fix compatibility issues.
