g Insane amount of lag with spitter spawner enemies

There are an enemy "spawner spitter level 10" (the pink one in the screenshot) that spawns more enemies when you kill it. It spawns completely insane amount of enemies, so much that it tanks my fps completely. (running on a really good stationary rig for 3000 dollars so it's not hardware related).

I guess i could lower some value below the default 1 on the spitter spawner, but still feels like it should be nerfed as default. I'm running on difficulty 10 and I also have race manager and running on difficulty "the one" there but i don't think that does anything, but i'm mentioning it anyway. Every once in a while they swarm from their lvl 10 spitter spawner nests and i have to manually shoot 30-40 nukes in their face to restore my fps xD

I mean....i'm asking for it with these mods and these settings, and i can approach 20-25 fps when i'm attacked from all sides by thousands of enemies at the same time, but going around 5 fps is just painful.

And im running enemies x10 hp and x4 damage, and some spawners are around 800k to 1 million hp so some of them can be pretty tanky to take down even with nukes

Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do.
The nuke causes lags even on a crowd of standard biters. And the longer the biter lives, the stronger the lags, since for each one the damage is calculated 100 damage 100 times. Approximately the same problem with flamethrowers - if the flamethrower hits a crowd, and no one dies, then there will be lags

I think with your settings it's better to disable the Spawner faction

Yeah but it's lags even if i don't nuke, just the spitter spawners are causing the lag, the nukes are to get fps back :P But yes also nuking nukes my fps even more, running the game into litterally a slideshow.

Yeah i probably should, not a bad idea. Can i just turn it off and it will work? Spawners that exist will die and enemies aswell? Or do i need to destroy the spawners that do exist, but they don't pop up?

Disable this faction in the startup settings, the necessary nests and biters will be removed automatically

Yeah it worked, however i noticed the extreme spawning of new spawners in the previous update haha, good that the newest update fixes that.
