g How to prevent biters tunneling to the center of my factory

Okay I don't know if I missed something, or I'm doing something horribly wrong but I keep having all my stuff blown up by the underground biters showing up in the dead center of my factory. Is there a way to prevent, redirect, or other wise stop these attacks. Is there an item or building I need that I don't have?

I'm just confused and lost on how to deal with em, If someone could give me some tips or just tell me what I missed I would greatly appreciate it.

Underground attacks cannot pass through turrets and radars. Once within about 15-18 tiles of them, the underground attack is forced to dig out.
However, they will try to bypass the defense if there is a passage somewhere. The coastal zone is especially deceptive in this regard. The attack can cover a significant distance along the coast

Good to know, think I know how to fix it now. Thank you for saving what remains of my factory :)

now imagine me, having my nuclear reactors blown up because of that XD

was that intentional of theirs parts ? is there a priority target for them to attack first ??? like i think in vanilla biters go in the direction of pollution, and attack whatever building that is emiting pollution ( except if they get shot at my turrets, duh )

They will happily gobble up a nuclear reactor if it is not too far away. But there is no special priority )
By the way, you can find the dust trail where this attack came from and block this direction with turrets

Also, it's worth knowing that if you kill something by artillery, a counter-attack underground may ignore the "don't go through the ocean" rule. So you have to be careful for a while
