g Lower tiers on higher evolution

(updated 2 years ago)

Is it just me, or lower tiers of biters like acidic and regular barely appear at higher levels of evolution like 25%? Because at the start of the game I saw mostly White and Green (acidic) ones, while at 25% they are almost fully replaced by Kamikaze, Pink and Regenerative ones.

If this is the case, why did you do so? I think it would be nice to resist all the factions and not just re-adapt to new ones.

If not - I can provide a list a list of mods, but the two major ones are Rampant fixed and Krastorio 2.

Biter factions change over time and from the evolution factor.
They also mutate existing nests. The mutation of existing nests is done so that otherwise there may be no place for new species on the map, especially with a large initial population
