I have a question about this. Because of my game setting (basically a more intensely mineral-starved railway world), I just can't close in all my borders. But with great effort, I can probably close some parts of them, a "front" if you will.
So my question is about the propensity of biters to try sneaking through defenses to hit in the interior (they are doing great!). If I close completely a large portion, does it means no raiding parties will be generated from nearby nests and points will be allocated elsewhere? Or will they still be generated and forced to bump against my defenses?
I suppose my question is linked to how AI points are used. Are points the AI received local to nests or can they be used anywhere? i.e. you give points to the AI on the east side of your borders, but the AI uses it to the west side of them?
