Based on Rampant 1.1.1 (new AI and enemies). 1. Perceptibly more dangerous. AI significantly rewritten, gameplay different. Can attack from afar. Improved search for a passage in the defense. By default, it does not populate the entire map. 2. +2 Factions. Can mutate existing nests. Mixed attacks from different factions. Can be combined with nests of other enemies

hey, i was playing regular rampant for like forever and must say this one is really "fixed" :) big fun of this work, monsters are much challenging now and in good way
anyway id like to suggest one more feature to make stuff even more interesting for me ( and i hope others too)
so we always play nocturnal mode only with bitters (with very long nights), all settings are super high like x3 or more so at night you really has to be in base or hide and hope they wont find you, they usually do tho, day is diffrent story , they seems quite dormant, when we go out and try to expand and kill some of their bases they come hard but just from little distance , also if we want just build (even not far from them) they dont care at all
so it would be cool that those hunting player squads would go hunt you at day too , that would be really nice if you could make em ignore night settings, also i think those vengeance stuff could happen at day too

It can be done. However, I think I should make this feature disabled by default. Otherwise, most players at the beginning of the game will be eaten

Could you please make this feature configurable for only at day, at night or both?

I think it would be a nice way to make the nights a little more dangerous without choosing full nocturnal mode.

How do you imagine that?
Now:
Nocturnal mode, day: depending on setting
Normal mode, peaceful: depending on the setting
All other cases - hunt

My idea is basically to make it more dangerous for players to be outside of their base when it's dark.
With this option enabled, the hunting squads will spawn only at nights and stay dormant during the day. So after sunset all players have to watch out for hunt squads attacks in addition to the usual threats.
