Rampant, fixed

Based on Rampant 1.1.1 (new AI and enemies). 1. Perceptibly more dangerous. AI significantly rewritten, gameplay different. Can attack from afar. Improved search for a passage in the defense. By default, it does not populate the entire map. 2. +2 Factions. Can mutate existing nests. Mixed attacks from different factions. Can be combined with nests of other enemies

i Enemy Colors

I am currently playing a SE+K2+ Run with the Rampant mod and was considering switching to rampant fixed, especially with all the performance improvements etc. When trying out your mod I found the enemy Colors being too colored and in some cases, especially some nest, to be very dark. Do you think it would be possible to have options to get the enemy color scheme closer to the one rampant uses?

I've seen it done in a standard Rampant, but I don't like this option because of the bad visibility (it is inconvenient to set a color without seeing it).
I'll think about what I can do.

Perhaps it will be possible to do something similar to the mod "Custom Map Colors". However, this will only affect the colors on the minimap.
Or is it desirable, including changing the color of the biters and the nests themselves?

"Or is it desirable, including changing the color of the biters and the nests themselves?"
That would be pretty cool : )

Yes, I am talking about the biters and nest themselves.

then, I will have to use the method from Rampant.
There are no updates planned for the next 3-4 weeks (except bug fixes), but I will write it down in my to-do list

That would be really nice. Also, the RevertEnemyColor (for map) from rampant would be a possible good candidate as well since with your mod nests are always a mix of many types of aliens.

Hi, just wanting to ask if there is something planned for this suggestion?

Yes, judging by the experiments, this will be a different mod so that those who are satisfied with the colors do not get confused in unnecessary settings.
I can’t say a specific release date, because I still haven’t come to an option that would suit me completely

Unfortunately, I did not manage to come up with a convenient form for setting the color of each faction. Work on this has been stopped.

Those who wish can make a separate mod with color adjustment. For example, in the final-data-fixes section, according to the settings of your mod, adjust the colors of already created objects

That is sad to hear, I was hoping that it would be possible to port the code of how the original mod did this.
