Rampant, fixed

Based on Rampant 1.1.1 (new AI and enemies). 1. Perceptibly more dangerous. AI significantly rewritten, gameplay different. Can attack from afar. Improved search for a passage in the defense. By default, it does not populate the entire map. 2. +2 Factions. Can mutate existing nests. Mixed attacks from different factions. Can be combined with nests of other enemies

Is it possible to add in option for less than 100% damage negation? (The best option would be if the value could be configurable in mod settings.)

I like the variety it adds to fighting, but I dislike having enemies being impossible to oneshot/damage at a distance no matter the damage.
Not sure if this is trivial to implement or hard/impossible, but if it is on the easy side, it would be really nice if you added the option so we didn't need to disable it for our next attempt in a few weeks.

Interesting idea. It's possible. As an option, to name these settings as "Oneshot protection efficiency" and "Range-immunity efficiency". By default, 100%.
It will take some time for the test (~1 week)

Don't think it is worth starting new thread for this so I will ask it here.
Do you plan to add these from rampant 3.0?
- Walking sounds have been added to new biters
- Laser sounds to beam attacks
- Biter melee attacks should now have a sound
- Dying, working, roaring sounds should now better match the size and level of the new enemy entities

to be honest, I didn't notice that there were not enough sounds...
I think it's worth waiting until Rampant 3 becomes stable and only then take something from there

Just seemed like a little nice thing but not super important (my opinion of course).

That 'nice' thing broke the mod completely. Turret firing sounds are missing in about 40% battles. Only silence and some hungry mice sounds.

It just works I quess.

According to the results of the check, no shortage of sounds was found. No action is required
When installing a new version on existing saves, you should be careful - the biters have become more cunning

Thank you for this, i like the idea of the biters being resistant and able to get to the base but it being on or off always made me disable for example the nuclear faction cause they were immune and then all my defenses were gone lol. Im happy to be able to put them at (for now still testing) where they resist 75% of the damage and I have a chance of killing them (and the others around them lol) with a lot of research and some explosions/mines/searchlights/long range damage source.

Also having not touched factorio in a few months i was quite excited to get on and see so many mods i enjoy having updated :D To go off the above, i also dont remember ever losing/not hearing sound effects
