Improves the enemies tactics by using potential fields (pheromones) allowing probing of defenses, retreats, reinforcements, counterattacking, breaching, raids, rallying death cry, and player hunting. Uses blockable biter projectiles. Adds new Enemies which can be disabled in mod settings. Difficulty setting in mod options menu.

g Adding new Enemies to existing game

Hello,
I am playing with rampant at the moment but don't have any new enemies enabled - when I switch them on in the existing save, it appears no new enemies are generating. Is there any way to add them to an already existing save?

They will appear, but it will take considerable amount of time (many game hours) - they should come from outside of discovered map OR you need to expand terra incognita to increase existing population of nests. Anyway in Rampant now it takes a lot of time for peaceful enemies expansion (without you provoking nest with attacks or pollution cloud).

you can use https://mods.factorio.com/mod/DeleteEmptyChunks to remove all unused chunks.
