Rampant

Improves the enemies tactics by using potential fields (pheromones) allowing probing of defenses, retreats, reinforcements, counterattacking, breaching, raids, rallying death cry, and player hunting. Uses blockable biter projectiles. Adds new Enemies which can be disabled in mod settings. Difficulty setting in mod options menu.

g Can't tell if the mod is working

I have removed all my other mods to make sure there's no conflict. I only have Rampant installed. I have the following settings:

No factions spawn and the biters don't seem to exhibit rampant behavior

Are you sure Peaceful mode is off for created map? Are evolution's time and pollution factors non zero?

For me first Rampant attack (from outside pollution area) happens after 4% evo is reached. No spawn - you mean no new enemy nests appear or no new factions?

10 hours in, 40% evo. No factions are spawning, as in none existed at the beginning of the game and none still exist.

Factions evolve over time, but the underlying numbers need to be balanced.
In the next version, factions will adapt to the damage type that is killing them.
The finding additional factions in the world should also be better in the next version, there was an issue with how evolution was being calculated causing the numbers to be lower than necessary.
