Rampant

Improves the enemies tactics by using potential fields (pheromones) allowing probing of defenses, retreats, reinforcements, counterattacking, breaching, raids, rallying death cry, and player hunting. Uses blockable biter projectiles. Adds new Enemies which can be disabled in mod settings. Difficulty setting in mod options menu.

Hey there I have started up a game using mods:
- Rampant 0.16.34
- LogisticTrainNetwork 1.9.7
- Squeak Through 1.2.2
- upgrade-planner 1.5.3
- tackleautorun 1.0.0

It's a Deathworld game with adjusted resources to match railworld (so a rampant death rail world).
Haven't touched any settings more than that whatsoever. So everything is default for Rampant.

We've had attacks for the first hours. Now the biters have built base very close to our stone outpost, but they haven't attacked for a long time, even though overlapped by polution.

I take everything back.

In the end, there was a last stand. And the bodies. Piling up.

Now, nothingess and darkness.

mh.. right now i got the same problem .... nothing moves.... when we shoot them with attilerie or something else, most of them flee , only like 10 of them charging to attack....
pollution shouldnt be the problem to trigger them as we got 4 giantic nuclear power plants.
Main other mods / modpack is 5DIM

What is your evolution at? What is your mod list? What version of Rampant? Has Rampant ever worked on the map?
Was Rampant added at the beginning or during the playthrough?

Having a similar issue but I'm playing a Ribbon Maze game. There is one little nest near my one wall on the maze that sends a tiny pitiful attack at over 45% evolution about once every 30 minutes, the rest of everything on the entire map seems to do nothing.

Custom world gen does not get along well with rampant at this time. I can look into this but I cannot promise anything.

I just looked at the ribbon maze mod and it is chunk aligned squares, so it should be compatible with Rampant.

Most likely the algorithms for dispersion are having trouble projecting far enough.

It is chunk aligned, my server is running on size 2 so the maze operates on a 64 tile width.

I can upload the server The current version of the mod pack is available at https://overminddl1.com/Factorio/packs/MazeFactory1d.zip and it has the Cheat Mode mod to assist with testing. If you just need to view the map a generated map every so often is saved at https://overminddl1.com/Factorio/maps/GregOver2/ though it only shows areas where the players have 'something' so it won't show enemies, however it does show the structure of the map well.

The UPS of the map is fairly low, but as mod tutorial map to teach the other players a few concepts it hasn't been too bad, though when pathfinding hits it freezes for a second.

as for me , the old map i played was kind of done, so i made a new one with a new modset,

On the old one - 5DIM mods , rampant, and a few other small things at some point the AI just stopped doing anything ( added Rampant Later in progress)

now i made a new one with rampant from the start added, and everything is fine ( Factorio ++ , as main big mod)
