Rampant

Improves the enemies tactics by using potential fields (pheromones) allowing probing of defenses, retreats, reinforcements, counterattacking, breaching, raids, rallying death cry, and player hunting. Uses blockable biter projectiles. Adds new Enemies which can be disabled in mod settings. Difficulty setting in mod options menu.

b Error on startup

Failed to load mods: Reached id limit for trivial-smoke. The game can't contain more than 255 instances of this prototype...

Happens every time after the update, does not occur anymore when i disable Rampant.
Btw rampant takes about 10 times the time to load then all the other mods after the update, might be related.

Update: Does not occur with rampant 0.16.4.

I figured out about loading time: go to modsettings file and disable new enemies from Rampant. Maybe it can help agains trivial-smoke.

The new attack ball create individual entities. Can the damage and radius values be dynamic? Damage=variable and the entry within scales instead of creating attack ball1, 2, 3

the damage possibly through the damage_modifier property, the radius no. I have reduced the number of trivial smoke to 4.

Does it load for you without error?

I still have the 255 limit error when I load the new enemies, it's possible that some of the other mods also add trivial smoke.

Go in your mod setting file, set new enemies for rampant to false. Or just plain delete the setting file and regenerate it, you'll need to redo any modification to mod settings you may have done when starting a new game.
