I was new to Factorio when I started.
Now I am 280 hours in, with easily 2000 more to come, and have come to understand;
1. Being short on metals and alloys is a good thing; It keeps the factory running, prevents ash and ores from leading to power death spirals.
2. There is no possibility of building something unfamiliar perfectly; The factory grows in layers, separated by technology level. Each previous tech level becomes sediment, a product of its time and testament to where you were in your evolution as a player of PyBlock when you built it. There is no such thing as a starter base in PyBlock.
Thank you, Pyanodon, for all the insightful despair you've given me, and thank you in advance for all that's to come.
Now, my fellow enjoyers of PyBlock, what have you come to accept or understand playing PyBlock? What was or is your experience with this modpack, frequently described as being made for people hate themselves?
