I would like to make the configurable values configurable without having to edit the mod itself.

I would also like to allow your running speed to exceed what would be allowed simply by taking surface and equipment into account. This would also be configurable and off by default.

You have generally not been very active, and the code for this mod isn't published anywhere except inside the mod files themselves. Would you be willing to publish updates along these lines if I made them (and put them in a GitHub repository) or should I fork your mod?
