FAQ

What is a report?

This mod has a report that can be generated that will show which entities will be powered with the current settings & mods. This report will be created as a file in the script-output folder as Powered_Entities_report.txt (See the wiki for more details on this folder's location). There are sometimes compatibility issues when trying to generate the report that are not encountered during normal gameplay, so don't let that discourage you from using the mod.

The current vanilla report can be found here (Russian report)

How do I generate a report?

Running the mod with the Debug Mode setting turned on will display a button in the top left of the screen to generate a report. Alternatively, the following command can be run in the chat/console (press tilde `): /c remote.call("Powered_Entities", "build_report")

How do I use the Entity Exclusion List?

The Entity Exclusion List is a comma separated list of entity names that will NOT be powered by the mod. The raw entity names can be looked up in the game files, or by running a report from powered entities with the "Report Localized Names" setting disabled. This list does not need a comma if there is only one name in it. There is no check for validity of the entity names, so if something is incorrectly spelled in the list, it will just not exclude anything (though enough bad names in this list could cause performance issues).

Valid Examples:
small-lamp
small-lamp,pump
