Power Overload

Performant, semi-realistic power distribution overhaul. Power poles can explode if the total electrical consumption on the network is too high. Use transformers to separate networks so that subnetworks do not take more power than they can handle.

i [Impossible] Multi colored electric networks on map

Hi, it's me again!
During my game I noticed that, using the map's feature to show you the electric networks, that it's quite hard distinguishing the power networks from each other, making it a bit unclear what part belongs to what network. I wondered whether it would be possible (and if so, a good idea) to make the electric networks colorable, either on the map itself somehow, or maybe as an additional menu/button in the e-network overview, so that one could color-separate the networks.
(Like, red network for the main line over long range, yellow for medium pole networks and green for low power networks? Colors just as example, not hard coded ofc ^^)

Unfortunately this isn’t possible :( I may make an API request but I wouldn’t expect it to be added.

Mods can change the network colour, but there is only a single value (https://github.com/wube/factorio-data/blob/master/core/prototypes/utility-constants.lua#L32), not one per type of pole.

If we had https://forums.factorio.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=76539&p=510027 then I’d be able to draw my own coloured overlays on the map, which would probably work quite well, so please post there in support :)
