Pollution Solutions Lite with Lessons Learned

Biters naturally suck pollution in, turning it into more spawners Units, bigger and badder Units. So, it makes sense, that the Engineer can learn from this and mimic their way to actively solve or Suck pollution out of the environment.

b Pollution collectors not working

I have a modded game with a pollution detector. Near an active pollution being detected of over 1.1k, I build both a synthetic and a standard pollution collector. Neither shows any signs of picking up pollution. I watched https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FNRFY2UQfEI&t=336s , to understand how it should work, but it seems it does not reduce/collect pollution at all.

I also wanted to mention that the name of the "Synthetic pollution collector" is misspelled as "Sythetic pollution collector".

Thank you for highlighting the misspelling, I just pushed a new update to correct it. My mod here is a mod of a mod of a mod, so the youtube vid you highlight isn't describing my mod, but one of the originals. But the mechanics are the same. First, you create pollution... it is seen in a red CHUNK cloud on your map. You want that pollution gone, now you can place down the "Synthetic Pollution Collector" in any chunk, if the pollution amount in that chunk is above the SETTING: "Pollution remaining, default value: 50", it will suck pollution into the Collector from the chunk it is in and the 4 cardinal surrounding chunks, you can have as many collectors sucking in a chunk as the SETTING: "Max collectors per chunk, default value: 8". Those collectors will suck all pollution except for the "Pollution Remaining" or until their personal capacity is full. They can be emptied like any fluid, such as into barrels or processed immediately.
