So im building a modpack that contains both AAI and PDA, in 0.16, to stop a previous crash, i've altered the pda.lua file by copying the funcion in line 77, from 0.17 version in which the problem was fixed, and it worked, but then i saw this (https://mods.factorio.com/mod/PavementDriveAssist/discussion/5a5f1b0dadcc441024d768ca) post, and tried implementing it to my file, but resulted in the crash the last post, that was not answered

Created this thread because im building a modpack and this mod and AAI are essencial, so the bug is actually very serious

Hi, i've just read your other post, unfortunately it is quite a hassle to create mods for multiple versions. I assume upgrading to 0.17 is not yet feasable for you, so i'll look into this and hope i can support you in doing this.

hey man, thanks for the reply, also sorry for my late reply, i've concluded that updating the modpack was my best bet to get developer support, so i did it, 0.17 running now, hope my save won't have any weird bugs

also been trying to get Earendel on the issue, since after i saw that video, i thought it would be nice for both base mods to work together, since it would add another layer of complexity and creativity for both mods

And with upgrading to 0.17: Yes, this makes things a lot easier. For the same reason the Factorio devs no longer release new bug fixes for the current stable version if they are already deep into the next experimental version.

Since the addition of specific AAI support has already been requested multiple times, it may be time to get this finally started :D
