What does this do ?

Alone, nothing ! This is like a music album, but you need the music player first : https://mods.factorio.com/mod/PI-house-made-music

Then it adds the music as game music and / or as instrument for the speakers !

Why ?

This way you can select your favourite "album" for each game, and when a new song or a new album is published or an attempt at making the music player better is done, you don't have to redownload everything.

No why this album ?

You should download it if you want to add some uplifting interludes to your game, or use a few speakers to make a party place, or a jukebox on your spaceship.

Those songs are not ambiant music, you can check out the genre in the description, they are motivationnal, less intense than party songs, but more intense, and shorter than the instrumental.

• 1-Deep-Electronica-1 ( 3 min : 14 sec ) [Aquilo]

  Genre : Chill-house / Deep-house
  Inspiration : Factorio OST, Deep-house mix that youtube algo keeps showing me probably to try and make me listen to other mix than those from Miss Monique
  Comment : Played in FL studio with a plugin that generate melody and the sound of a synth untill i had something that sort of reminded me of the Factorio theme added some effects and kick following youtube tutos and gave the unfinished thing to AIs for them to add things, kepts my favourite parts and mixed them in a song with an intro and outro so it can be either played in repeat mode, or fit as an interlude like the originals from the game.

• 2-Echoes-of-the-Desert-1 ( 2 min : 38 sec ) [Fulgora]

  Genre : Melodic Techno/ Progressive-house
  Inspiration : Scissor Sisters-Invisible Lights
  Comment : Not sure if Suno or LimeWire made the original samples which sounded like a copy of a song i really liked when it was released, attempted to do some stem separation and make it sound a bit less emotionnal and a bit more joyful, added intro and outro so it can be either played in repeat mode , or fit as an interlude like the originals from the game with still the energy of a party sound. Not really evocative of the desert despite the name.

• 3-Echoes-of-the-Desert-2 ( 2 min : 26 sec ) [Fulgora]

  Genre : Deep-House
  Inspiration : RILTIM
  Comment : Mostly a Suno song slowed down a lot and repitched with some sound added when i saw fit. Made to be relaxing and evocating of the desert with an intro/outro so it can be either played in repeat mode, or fit as an interlude like the originals from the game.

• 8-Al-Gleba ( 1 min : 46 sec ) [Gleba]

  Genre : Middle-East traditionnal/ Banghra / House
  Inspiration Living in French suburbs,Punjabi MC.
  Comment : This a short happy song. When i was a kid, i could only find few albums of music from those genre, and i didn't know the artist name. It's thanks to internet that i could document and learn the history of the music. So i tried making something with AI that make me feel the same festive foreign energy. I think music can join people together, or separate them, i tried to do the first one by mixing genre. I think it's a risk because it could be unpleasant for fans of either one or the other genre or both, that's why it's so short. I think listening to music from somewhere else is a sign of positive curiosity compared to other things i got from somewhere else from which i learned the history of throughout my life after being a kid. And i think this music genre is feeling "from somewhere else" for many players so it fits Gleba the most, because it's organic, compared to other electronic sounds, and it's the planet that is forcing players to adapt to different customs, in a way. I hope you like the interlude !

• 9-Al-Gleba-Bhangra-1 ( 1 min : 30 sec ) [Gleba]

  Genre : Banghra /Middle-East traditionnal
  Inspiration Punjabi MC,Living in French suburbs.
  Comment : This is a short dynamic song. Similar to previous song, but with more banghra influence in the percussion rythm. It was also generated with AI and made into a short version. I like when those breaks the flow of monotony sometimes, although they can be distracting, i'm hoping this one act like a motivationnal pause for you too. To me it works with my head that follow the beat and up and down, while my mind/finger are moving like the other instrument. Except for when you are doing combinators, then the clicking needs be done when the beat kicks in. click click click otherwise it's too fast :)
