b Crash on startup with AR: Bob's Mods and Bob's Mining without Bob's Ores [FIXED]

Hi OldSkoolMatt, first of all I'd like to thank you a lot, for making this great mod. It's such a simple idea, but it makes perfect sense and has been great to play the game with. In my opinion, it should have been part of the base game... :)

Unfortunately, I have run into two problems when trying to run P.U.M.P.S.. In one case, there is a simple fix and I think I know the reason why it happens, but in the other, I have no idea.

The first problem occurs when P.U.M.P.S is enabled along with Bob's Mining mod. I receive the following error message:

Failed to load mods: P-U-M-P-S/prototypes/override/bob-overrides.lua: 106: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value)
stack traceback:
P-U-M-P-S/prototypes/override/bob-overrides.lua: 106: in main chunk
[C]: in function 'require'
P-U-M-P-S/data-updates.lua: 6: in main chunk

But this only happens when "Water mining pumpjacks" is enabled on the Startup tab in Mod settings, under Bob's Mining mod. My guess is that since Bob's Mining only adds water mining entities to the game when Bob's Ores is also enabled, which I don't use, P.U.M.P.S cannot run with that startup setting enabled, due to the missing entities or something along those lines.

Disabling "Water mining pumpjacks" solves the problem very neatly.

The second problem occurs in conjunction with Artisanal Reskins: Bob's Mods. I got two error messages this time, oddly. -~-

The first message is with all mods disabled except for AR: Bob's Mods, AR: Library, Factorio Library, Bob's Functions Library mod, Bob's Mining, and P.U.M.P.S:

Failed to load mods: P-U-M-P-S/utils/lib.lua: 111: attempt to index global 'inputs' (a nil value)
stack traceback:
P-U-M-P-S/utils/lib.lua: 111: in function 'assign-icon-tier'
P-U-M-P-S/data-updates.lua: 60: in main chunk

With all mods installed except for RitnGlass and RitnLib, the message is this:

Failed to load mods: P-U-M-P-S/utils/lib.lua: 103: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value)
stack traceback:
P-U-M-P-S/utils/lib.lua: 103: in function 'assign-icon-tier'
P-U-M-P-S/data-updates.lua: 60: in main chunk

I've got an extensive list of mods installed, so I would basically expect something like that to happen, when trying to run them all at once. Having a problem with just Artisanal Reskins enabled, though... that's got me confused.

Have you any idea why this would happen? I can post a full list of my modset if it will help you. It's quite a long list, though.

Please let me know if you require this. Thanks again for your mod. I really like Flow Control for Bob's Logistics too... :)

i'm looking into it right now.
Thanks for reporting the issue, the support and the feedback, very appreciated (i thought myself that such settings should be there by default)

Wow, that was quick! You're a legend! ^_^

It looks like P.U.M.P.S now requires "Water mining pumpjacks" to be ON if Bob's Mining is enabled. It won't load for me without it, basically the opposite of what I described before. But since having it ON now gives the 5 tiers of water pumpjacks as intended, that's probably for the best.

Thanks again, OldSkoolMatt... AR Bobs and Bob's Mining now work with P.U.M.P.S for me. :)

Oh really? I didn't realize that needed fixing! xp

No further issues on my end, many thanks for your efforts. It was great to talk to you about Factorio stuff... :)

Yh, it did, cause it was causing a crash on startup if disabled, now everything works as it should with wathever settings
