Odd number of underground belt items drove me crazy.. Found this, that unfortunately doesn't work in factorio 2.0.. So I fixed it and have a working version now.
My question is about licenses, rights, permissions. It seems GotLag is not active and I noticed that there is already another copy of this with a small modification, also outdated.
Is it permitted to upload a working copy here or not? Of course I would credit GotLag..

generally in the modding community (for any game) its alright unless the mod dev is an asshole or the community/game dev specifically disallows it, just give credit and if you are asked by GotLag to remove it then do so

again this is just for modding in general and not specific to this game (but i dont see why it would be any diffrent)

It's pretty common practice to do so with credit for unmaintained mods.

Does anyone know of a similar mod for 2.0?

+1 to making a fork for 2.0/SA available.
Loved this mod a ton! Would love for it be useable in 2.0/SA.

I don't know about licensing and such (I'm not a lawyer), but if the original was open source, you should be able to freely publish a fork?

Hello, fellow engineers. I do know about licensing. And it is allowed on this mod at least to create forks, repacks, etcetera, as long as the author is credited and uses the same license (MIT).

Given the circumstances... Please make a fork for 2.0! And publish it!

I've uploaded a fork, with only the minimum changes needed to get the mod working on v2.0. When GotLag updates their version, I'll delist it, as I've no interest in Factorio modding.
