Why is the mod’s fancy name “Louder Wagons” but the internal name is “LouderCargoWagons”?

In Factorio 1.x, fluid wagons had nicely audible rolling sounds but cargo wagons were much more quiet because of a typo in the prototype data. As that typo stayed unfixed for over three years between the first bug report and the Factorio 2.0 release, this mod simply raised the cargo wagon volume to match the fluid wagon volume. In Factorio 2.0, all wagons are very quiet, especially at low speeds, so this mod was changed to cover all wagon types, not just cargo wagons.

Yes, permission is hereby explicitly granted to use this mod free of charge in live-streams and pre-edited videos, both monetized and non-monetized, if the streams and videos are free to watch. You may not use this mod in streams and videos that are paywalled or “members only”.
