Possible, yes, but what should happen if the player places linked belts beyond their range? Easiest would be to make the first placed belt unlinkable (red icon), but I think this would be a bit annoying. Alternatively, I might be able to make it so that whenever a user places a linked belt it looks for the closest unlinked (black icon) belt and links to that if it is in range, otherwise it doesn't link, but stays ready to link with other belts (black icon), but this might be a bit annoying/weird if the player sets the range to a large value and a newly placed belt links with an old one that they forgot. What do you think?
I'll first work on an option to disallow inter-surface linked belts, as that is definitely to OP imo, even for a cheat mod.
