In your compatibility patch, you've chosen to replace IR's Flare Stack with your own. Your flare stack requires steel, while IR's does not. This makes early oil processing MUCH more difficult, as you have to reach the Steel Age (which requires an oil processing setup for the Chemical Science packs) before you can burn off heavy and light oil to keep petrogas flowing.
Please consider re-enabling IR's flare stacks, or changing the recipe on yours!
(And I do realize there are other ways to balance out oil production ratios, but they're all much more sophisticated and require extensive work compared to just burning it off. I often want to set up a crappy oil refinery just to get enough plastic or sulfur to hand-craft some things.)
