Hello there,

first, let me thank you for investing all your time into a mod to enhance other players hobby.

I like to get some feedback to you about Krastorio. just got around 30 hours into your mod (soo.. i am more in the midgame i guess), playing on a fresh map and with SE and some minor stuff enabled (like LTN or Nanobots)

  • Loaders are super cool, but sadly dont use electricity. Thats feels to me like cheating some aspects of the game
  • Radars are hyped. Like, they scan so fast and use so much energy (earlygame), also reveal so much area, feels to me this should be locked behind a (kinda early) technology step.
  • The Techtree is... well, what did i expect it to be with 2 gamechanging mods? Hmm... there are a lot of recipies locked behind others that dont make sense... e.g. the tank is locked behind lasers (indirect by locking military 3 behind lasers)... why? Yes, difficult to rebalance, just to let you know.
  • The Blue Science jump is super difficult now. Producing red chips on a line requires a lot of different materials, processes and steps. I for myself like to get every step right so i dont have to do much reworking, but before blue science getting things out of the way (like building some train supported mining outpost) is very tedious, because you dont have access to stack inserters (other than with some hand craftet redchips), so trains are either loaded and unloaded with blue inserters (taking ages with the new cargo wagons) or every station requeires 24 stack inserters (for 4 wagons), eating up like 5 minutes handcrafting. Prehaps i missed something here? Feels out of place for me to have all things needed for a train network but not being able to load and unload in a good manner.

Finally a suggestion: A nice addition would be a specialised warehouse in a 6x1 dimension... this could replace the 6 chests you use on one side of a cargo wagon in a train station setup to unify the storage space and balance it all with just one (un)loader. Currently i use your (for this case kinda oversized) general warehouse.

Sorry for the cheaty loader but, is a choise of Factorio developers don't improve loader interface, they leave it incomplete because the don't like that concept after test it (unlike the players) and the only way to add electricity consume is consume UPS too, so is better have cheaty loader... at the end isn't the inserters that matter or make difference on electric network
