Great mod! Finished my first rocket launch after 60 hrs and now on to a better designed factory (learned a lot from first play through... all in all wonderful! Only critique is science for final rocket pad took a LONG time....).

One nit though is after last or update prior long reach mod stopped working as it was, use to be able to pick whatever you could see... now limited to much shrter distance. Mod settings wont let change above 125 spaces. For big and sprawling factories - which this mod demands - really need QOL long reach, IMO.

Hit to others, give yourself a LOT of room for every sub assembly. You WILL need to expand just about everything far larger than you think going in :-)

Have u try to disable the option of Krastorio that change player interaction distance?

Krastorio doesn't allow to build at a very large distance. This slightly increases the distance, but does not make it too cheaty.
build_distance = 60
reach_distance = 60
reach_resource_distance = 8

If you want to increase the distance even more, then you need to disable this option and install an additional mod.
