This is a revival of the KS Combat mod by Klonan.
Compatible with most other mods!
Note: If you wish to use Helicopter Revival with this mod, you must disable the Walls Block Spitters setting in the mod options
- This mod generally changes the combat to be more skill based. No more auto-aim, or hitscan, etc. (within reason). When you press the 'shoot' key, your gun will shoot in the direction your mouse is pointing (assuming you have ammo).
- Guns shoot actual projectiles
- Bullets have tracers and are light sources to light up the night with dakka
- Walls will block spitter projectiles (optional, disable to fix compatibility with Helicopter Revival)
- Shotguns now have variable spread (based on mouse distance from player Wide -> Narrow)
- Rockets no longer home in (optional)
- Atomic Bomb now arcs and has a range buff so you don't have to be in the 'danger zone' to fire it
- Tank shells now arc
- Capsules and Grenades now arc
- Other small tweaks to improve the feel of combat (Mostly to do with the fact that bullets are actual projectiles now)
- This mod should be compatible with most other mods, including ones that add new weapons.
- If you find any bugs let me know and I will try to fix them.
