This is a revival of the KS Combat mod by Klonan.

Note: If you wish to use Helicopter Revival with this mod, you Must also download the Combat Mechanics Overhaul Mod for it to be compatible

  • This mod generally changes the combat to be more skill based. No more auto-aim, or hitscan, etc. (within reason). When you press the 'shoot' key, your gun will shoot in the direction your mouse is pointing (assuming you have ammo).
  • Guns shoot actual projectiles
  • Bullets have tracers and are light sources to light up the night with dakka
  • Walls will block spitter projectiles
  • Shotguns now have variable spread (based on mouse distance from player Wide -> Narrow)
  • Rockets no longer home in
  • Atomic Bomb now arcs and has a range buff so you don't have to be in the 'danger zone' to fire it
  • Tank shells now arc
  • Other small tweaks to improve the feel of combat
  • This is still in development and I am in the process of re-adding arcs to throwables.
  • This mod should be compatible with most other mods, including ones that add new weapons.
  • If you find any bugs let me know and I will try to fix them.

This mod's development is still in progress and updates may be sporadic
