Can you add filters to the loaders?

They already have filters. Factorio only enables them when the loader is in output mode. Select an output loader to set its filters, like a filter inserter.

Can you add circuit wire connections to the loaders?

No, Factorio does not currently support this. In most situations you can wire up the belt that connects to the loader instead.

I can't hand-craft with stacked ingots, how do I unstack them?

See the stacked item's tooltip for instructions on manually unstacking items in your cursor or your inventory. Handcrafting will also unstack ingots if it will fulfil another recipe (if you don't have any unstacked). You can also use personal logistics (transfer plates in the early game, bots in the late game) to automate the offloading of unwanted stacked items from your inventory to an unstacking facility.

Why is there no improvement to inventory capacity with stacked items?

This is deliberate: stacking is purely about belt and loading throughput, and nothing else. Inventory "density" has been preserved by design. Many other mods and options exist if you want to increase your storage capacity.

Will you add other stackable items?

It's unlikely. Please don't hassle me to add any particular item. You shouldn't need much apart from ingots on long buses anyhow.

Will you add more snapping options?

No. If you want different snapping behaviour you will need to use a different loader mod.

Can I copy or modify this mod's assets and include them in my own published mods or other public works?

No. You do not have the right to redistribute edited versions of this mod or derivatives of any part of it. You can change or dissect the mod as much as you like for your own personal use, but you can't distribute those derivatives. See the license.
