how do you fix this? My space ships keep dying because the turrets rank up then shoot at asteroids they cant reach until they are out of ammo.

Sorry I'll take a look at this. What you could do is just set the custom range modifier to be just 1,2,3,4,5,6 in startup settings. That would fix the range issue for now. I play with Distant misfires mod which already extends the range of bullets by 1.5, so I just don't see it in my playthrough if it's an issue.

Thanks! I’ll check that out. A lot of the logic I didn’t touch unless it was broke when I forked the mod from 1.1 so it could be something that has just always been that way

You know what, im a dumb dumb, im playing krastorio2 spaced out. The bullets have different ranges than the default game.... I think this is maybe what threw this off.

Very well could be as I'm not seeing a problem right now. I cranked it up to 999% range and was able to hit at the edge of the range.

Okay you aren't crazy. I found the problem. Fixed it in next update. Issue is projectile based ammo.

i tried 1.0.35 and they are still shooting at things they cant hit or aiming where they cant him im not sure.
