This mod add water as field resource in the game. The original mod was FiniteWater however it's a full rewrite. I remove saline water concept, I just wanted the water part, and I made the field very close to vanilla field oil so water is "infinite" however like oil you better find additional water source cause 20% minimal output will barely keep you alive.
Space Age
Ground water will spawn on Gleba. If you use mod with planet that need water you need to use planets list settings and add planet name to them.
Why
I don't know, I like it. It's offer a new challenge, not that hard I think. The difficulty is configurable with amount setting.
Technical
- There is one new entity, Burner Water Pump, for now its like the pump-jack, I still didn't learn about graphic in factorio modding. I'm open to any help about that. It mine twice slower than PumpJack
- The settings for water field is the same than oil field, it's surprising very hard to config the game spawning mechanism, copy the same settings and just twerk the amount of fluid created was working the best. You can put iron, copper, etc... to any richness, but as always I recommend to never touch oil richness, same go for water, let it at 100% and just twerk amount value in mod settings. 3 should be about okay, in factorio you use 3 times more water than oil. But this is not well tested yet. I finally put 5 as default. This can be changed when you want if you feel you really need more water output.
