i Eggs and bacteria

please consider having the option to freeze eggs and bacteria. i want to use this as a better way of disabling spoilage and if it can't freeze eggs i can't use it, if it can't freeze bacteria then i have to build some spoilage management , considering i would have to build the freezing into the bacteria breeding loop it adds considerable extra considerations to the build(which i like and much prefer to being forced to have this flowthrough and throwaway type design that is the only real way to play as dictated by the devs.) within the next year someone is gonna have THE freeze-spoilable-items-mod , that can be your mod or it could be someone elses mod.

To be honest, I don't really care about having "the" mod or whatever; I just make the mods that I like to play. I find it anti-immersive if they don't look nice, so I try to give them a decent amount of polish even if they're just for my own use, and since they do look nice... why not share them?

But anyway. All that said, you make a good point about allowing alternate designs and new ways to play. I originally didn't want to allow freezing bacteria or eggs because it was more work for me, and it didn't seem realistic anyway... though, this is Factorio, so "realism" is always kind of a stretch. In the newest version of the mod, I've added a new technology that lets you freeze eggs and bacteria as well.

I would tell you making the mod the way i want it to be would make you a better looking person with more money or cure all ills and bring world peace if it motivates you to make the mod the way i want it to be. whatever it takes (as long as it costs me no money or requires me to get up out of my chair.) Although it seems simply the actual reason i wanted the change was enough.
