Factorio Earth deprecated

**NOTE**: I have released Cities of Earth 2 (https://mods.factorio.com/mod/CitiesOfEarth2) which doesn't need this mod. (I should probably deprecate both of them.) :) Mod that changes the world generation to be a map of Earth. This mod only overrides the generated tiles. Ore, biters, trees and other entities will still be randomly generated.

yours requires unzipping the mod and changing a lua file to manage the mod settings, whereas the original has mod settings support.

also there's yet another fork of Factorio-World that actually limits the map size and sets the spawn point to East Africa so that you begin in the middle of the map, and it doesn't repeat. i apologise if I seem rude, but I don't see the point of your mod fork here.

When you say this one doesn't have mod setting support - I am confused.
I took 0.17.0, changed the info and readme, and re-versioned it to 0.18.0.
I made no code base changes.

whoops, i am a bit dumb. I thought Cities of Earth was a full fork of the F-W mod and not building on top of it.

no worries - The Oddler offered to let me add to his mod a while ago - I should have taken him up on it.
