There is a startup setting to change the explosion resistance of the biters, nests, and worms.
Or that's what you would expect when reading it. It seems like a major oversight that the resistance can only be within a narrow range (90-100).
My idea of explosive biters are like Banelings from StarCraft, which are not resistant to explosions at all, so it triggers a chain reaction when one is killed.
It would be nice to have the option to tweak this setting within a larger range, maybe even giving higher than 100 to make them heal from explosions, if someone values their sanity less than trees.
Since this change is easy to make myself, I did so by simply making a copy of the mod and changing it. Will not be posting my version unless given explicit permission here.
