Add 5 tiers of transformators for better control over the electric supply network. The transfer power for each tier is 1MW, 10MW, 100MW, 1GW, 10GW with efficiency of ~98%

I need low power transformators, what to do?


The ordinary factorio accumulators have their transfer limited to 300kW; so 3 of them make up roughly 1 MW. This is a known way of limiting energy transfer and works without problems. Such setup is described at https://wiki.factorio.com/Accumulator#Isolation_of_Power_Networks

What about Transformers mod migration?


The Transformers from the Transformers mod by OwnlyMe are compatible and are migrated (taken over) upon first load of the map with «Electric Transformators» mod. Recheck the transformator wiring with electric poles after migration if the setup doesn't cleanly follow the placement recommendations. Note, the migration is not backwards compatible, test well.

What does the setting "Check for electric shorts" actually do?


We check periodically whether both terminals of each transformator are connected, like through an electric pole. This situation means that the transformator is actually inoperable. If such condition arises, a notification will be shown. Optionally, the check can be disabled.

What does the setting "Hide alt key overlay" actually do?


The "alt" key icons can be difficult to recognize. This setting deactivates the factorio "alt" key info for Transformator entities and shows alternative icons near the terminals of Transformators for easier recognition.

What is required during the gameplay?


Research is required to be able to employ Transformators in the game. The requirements for each tier are:
