Hi, love the mod, great idea! Any chance you can add the fulgora lightning to Nauvis? And perhaps integrate the colorations of native nauvis ground from Alien Bioms?

Fulgoran lightning on Nauvis? I suppose that it is possible, but thinking about the game play. It would remove the need for power generation on Nauvis. I would need to make the lightning rods available very early, guess I could place the Fulgoran ruins version at map generation, forcing the player to survive and build around them until they can unlock the craftable ones?

For the alien biomes tiles, that is something I have considered, but put it on the back burner for now. Map generation for me, takes a good amount of effort and have been busy enough getting it to this point. It is on the "todo" list, if I can make something that works well. Alien Biomes generates the map differently, so I will need to find my own solution to a good looking biome.

Thanks for the quick response! Yeah I thought so too, maybe as a "storm season" that increases in frequency with lategame? So it doesn't trivialize the early game power production but gives incentive to get going to fulgora and give the lightning rods more uses? And for the early game maybe a lightning rod without the power output? Like the ones irl on rooftops? Some steel, some iron sticks, mabe a copper coils for the tip?
I understand! I hope you find a way, the vanilla Nauvis ground seems so boring sandwiched between lush gleba, the vulcanos and the icy north :)

Sorry for the lack of response, I have been quite busy with the 0.12.0 refactor.

There are a couple of mods that do add weather conditions. I will have to look into it.

Adding lightning to Nauvis sort of takes away the uniqueness of Fulgora.

The point of the lightning is to destroy your factory and/or kill your character? And not for power generation, until after the technology is unlocked?
I do have a lightning rod graphic ready to implement this, I am just not so sure.

Are you looking for a harder time surviving? You want limited usable building space? So maybe like the block mods, but without a block to build on, you add lightning attractors?

Oh, I remember now what the showstopper is... it renders the tesla turret and tesla gun useless. All enemies on Nauvis would need to be given 100% electrical immunity.

I know it's Fulgoras selling point, I just thought your combined Nauvis would be the perfect opportunity to include it, for an aditional challange, since both Lava and Bacteria add infinite resources to Nauvis. I still think that the Tesla weapons would still be valuable, especially if the lightning comes randomly and not all the time. If you're unsure then don't do it, it's your work after all, I will find another way to make my gameplay harder :)
