Hey, so I'm playing through and I'm to the point where to unlock the Foundry you need to craft Tungsten carbide, which requires Tungsten ore. But any of the Tungsten patches aren't minable by hand, only with the Big mining drill, which isn't unlocked until I craft a Foundry. Is there somewhere or somehow that I'm missing to get this? Thanks

Tungsten ore can be acquired without a mining drill by mining big and huge volcanic rocks, and the corpse of demolishers.

If you enable the startup setting to change the Foundry recipe to use tungsten plate, then the corpse of a demolisher is the only option.

Yeah I'm liking it so far. Nothing has made even a small dent into a demolisher though lol. I didn't change any of the default options, I'll go hunt around for volcanic rocks then until I can unlock the big miner I guess, thanks
