Dynamic Water deprecated


[New terrain behavior algorithm in progress.] Water flows. Specialized terrain generator for simple rivers, oceans. New offshore pump to interactive with the flowing water. Players have to manage all the water in the environment to avoid possible flood which destroys your base. I plan to come back on this mod in May or June 2021.

Nice idea, would like to try it.

But the mod can't be installed because your files are completely messed up:
- there are weired symbols in some filenames (which are not needed by this mod anyway)
- no line separators in a large part of control.lua

There is no error msg during the installation or the start of the game. It just does not show up in the mod list.

This why I don't buy the games which just released.
OK, Thanks for reporting. I'm gonna test my mod before the next release.

By the way, the strange code is to link to a debug tool named lua api global variable viewer, from x2605. If you develop mod, you should check it out.

I just located the issue. If you unzip the zip file, it should work.

Looks like your zip file is malformed. How are you zipping it?

No idea. I spent 1 or 2 hours on this issue already. Gonna test more. But, if you unzip it, does it work? You know, when we write code for the mod, we don't zip it between tests. So when the issue with zipping happens, it's already a big mess.

Hi again. The lastes 0.2.4 might have a chance to work. I tested it just now. It works on my pc.

Hi again. The lastes 0.2.4 might have a chance to work. I tested it just now. It works on my pc.
