I think to be useful it need to have a big equipment grid as it is now I do not like it.

The vehicle has no equipment grid, but you can add some with another mod.
Ask for compatibility by the mod author.

Nah then I rather use Angel's CAB I find it useless as it is now with rest of angel's mods but with other mods it is great and do the same

Just a notice to the other people who do want to use the crawler with a grid: Optera's Vehicle Grid will add a grid of considerable size. Also, since versions 0.1.22 (Factorio 0.17) and 0.2.2 (Factorio 0.18), Autodrive will add a minimum grid to the crawler so all of the Autodrive sensors (but nothing else!) can be used with it.
