Would it be possible to get a mod setting to disable starting equipment changes?

I agree. This mod is an excellent starter helper. but there needs to be options to tailor the mod to individual player tastes. I would like to start with nothing and research them, then construct them. Having drones right at the start feels a bit OP to me. Thank you for making the mod, and I hope it makes it into the vanilla game.

if it really bothers you, for now you can start the game without the mod, save, enable it and reload.
