Preference: we are playing with Kostario 2, Spece Exploration and Rampant mods, we are making all basic science types except for rocket science packs (just started production of Chemical Tech cards); and have not yet researched laser turrets... I have so far been focusing on reducing pollution as much as possible, all our power production ~216 MW (~50 MW satisfaction) is done by solar or wind and plan to transition from coal furnaces to electric soon; and we are thinking of doing air purification soon as well.

So far our team's response to the big bugs has been to frantically put up 100 turrets or so and load them up with ammo, it has worked ok-ish. But will it scale well later on? (we have only fought two, the first one was ranged with 120k hp and the second one was blue one with 160k).

The interior attacks seem to have been the most panic inducing ones so far for us. We are thinking of giving the entire base a minimum coverage such that at any given point there is are at least 4 turrets within range, would that suffice, or would we need significantly more?

How much worse will the human raids get, right now the snipers take out a few turrets out, and the others ones die fairly quick.

We are far from building a rocket silo, but before we build one, and start launching rockets, and rules of thumb or tips on how robust our defenses should be?

Any other suggestions/tips vs the natural disasters or other things?
