I also see this happen, this is due to the unit for some reason have same ammo_category attribute which being used by damage/speed researches.

tbf, I wouldn't mind if not for :
- high base damage of the unit because the damage research really blow up the numbers i.e (280dmg into + 3.25K damage)
- graphic gore on the bonuses windows

is it possible to copy all those ammo property and create duplicate with different name for the ammo_category?

I used above to create new ammo_category, able to remove it from research and bonus. but i'm not sure if anything broken. don't find the way to manually spawn enemies.

ammo_category bonuses are buffed by technology yes, but each force has their own numbers. So if player research a bonus it is aplyed to player force only. The bonus tab shows worms, but it would only benefit the bonus you create a worm for your team
